WHAT IS SUPER 8?
Super 8 captures special moments in a unique way that you can feel! It takes you back in time and gives you a nostalgic feeling that cannot be replicated by a digital camera. Super 8 films have a grainy texture with warm and vibrant colors that create a vintage yet timeless look that is difficult to recreate with modern equipment.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Super 8 Film camera was the original way to create at home videos. This camera was developed and used all throughout the 60's and 70's. What we use today is just an iPhone but I remember my parents pulling out their video camera all the time to capture school events, cheer competitions, and so much more! Super 8 Film cameras require special reels of film that can only be developed and processed in a peculiar way then we're used to today. Back in 1965 when the Super 8 first came out, these cameras were not able to capture sound, but later was developed in the 70's by using a magnetic soundtrack.

The moment I started photography + videography I fell in love with film cameras. Every antique store I went to I just had to get my hands on another vintage camera. The day I realized I could actually refurbish and use a polaroid or super 8 from the 6o's I melted. I'm in love with creating moments not only that you'll cherish for a life time but moments you can feel.I'm obsessed with the classic filmy vibe <3
